Embrace your looks

The fashion industry is made up people like you and I with blood running through their veins. That's so cliche but it's true. They listened when we called for diversity in terms of colour, shape and height, and now, they've gone a step further.

Stretch marks are no longer every woman's worry anymore. Thanks to Boohoo for releasing the unedited photos of this model. It would help enhance the confidence of some women who can't strip with the lights on.

Boohoo customer and Facebook user, Cheryl Adele was the first to notice the picture which has since gone viral and her caption below is spot on.

Boohoo isn't a pacesetter where unediting of promotional photos is concerned. Fashion brands like Zara, Target are into it too. Target's swimsuit ads are airbrush free and so are Aerie's lingerie ads. You can shop for the ruched open back bodysuit here, you'll see the model again on boohoo's website.

I find this so amazing! That even on a massive clothing brand like Boohoo they haven't photoshopped away the models stretch marks! ðŸ’–
This is what girl power is all about! And every woman has imperfections. It shouldn't be photoshopped away to give unrealistic expectations! Its what makes us who we are! Its reality #womenpositvitey boohoo.com

Women, embrace your body and focus on the positives.
