Mariah Carey , 48, was a stunner at the Songwriters Hall of Fame 49th Annual Induction and Awards Dinner in New York City on Thursday, showing off her banging body in a shimmery thigh-high slit black-and-silver dress with sheer overlay. She completed the look with strappy gold heels, hoop earrings and her signature golden blonde curls. 

After the event, Mariah Carey shared a picture of herself posing backstage with new songwriters hall of fame inductee, Jermaine Dupri, and Usher.
