Wildfang raises $250,000 for RAICES

The first lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump, went to Texas last Thursday to meet the immigrant children being held by the Department of Health and Human Services at the Upbring New Hope Children's Shelter in McAllen.
But that visit was overshadowed by her $39 Zara jacket which had an insensitive message on the back, "I really don't care, do u?"
She wore the jacket which now retails on ebay for $895, though you can get it for less from some other sellers there as well, when she boarded her plane at Andrews Air Force Base but not when she deplaned in Texas. FLOTUS explained through her communications director that it was just a fashion choice and there was no hidden message. She'll be visiting more facilities sometime this week.

Meanwhile, clothing brand Wildfang, released its own version of the infamous  jacket, but with a different message, “I Really Do Care Don’t U?”
According to Wildfang, 100 percent of sales from its version will be donated to RAICES, a Texas-based nonprofit organization that provides free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees. Lingua Franca has also made their own version.
Just three days after their initial post on making their own version went live, the brand told has reportedly raised around $250,000 for the organization with plans on continuing to raise more. Apart from Wildfang, a couple has helped raise millions for RAICES too through their campaign.
Aside the jackets, Wildfang also has the "I really do care" hoodies and tees which you can buy here.
